Setting up Payments: Currency, Taxes & Payment Processors

Easily configure your payment settings to start accepting payments online. Choose your preferred currencies and securely connect popular payment gateways such as PayPal, Stripe, and Square. You'll also be able to accept major credit cards, online wallets, and other convenient payment methods.

Setting The Default Currency

The default currency you set will be used for all your services, invoices, estimates, and online payments.

To set the default currency:

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Payments.
  4. Click Payment Processing.
  5. Under "Select A Currency", click caret icon, then the relevant currency.
  6. Optional: Check "My Business May Accept Payments in Other Currencies".
Important: When using Square as your payment processor, you will only be able to receive payments in a single currency. We recommend disabling multiple currencies to avoid confusion.
  1. At the top of the page, click Save.

Adding & Deleting Taxes

To add business taxes:

  3. Click Payments.
  4. Click Taxes & Tips.
  5. Under "Price Calculation", select Prices Exclude Tax or Prices Include Tax.
  6. Click Add Tax.
  7. Enter the tax name, tax rate, and where to apply it.
  8. Click Add Tax.
  9. Enter relevant information.
  10. At the top of the page, click Save.

This tax will now be added to the price and appear on the invoices of selected services.

To delete a tax, next to the relevant tax click more options icon, then Delete Tax.
