We know encountering app issues can be frustrating. If you're experiencing glitches or sluggish performance, we're here to help.
Troubleshooting Steps
Is your Internet connection slow?
- Switch to Wi-Fi: If you're using cellular data, connect to a strong Wi-Fi network
- Check your internet speed: If you're already on Wi-Fi, run a quick Internet speed test such as Ookla to check your download and upload speeds. It's also available as an app for Android and iOS.
- Restart your router: A router restart can refresh the connection and improve overall Internet performance
For best performance, force close the app after each use. This creates a fresh instance to start each time you use the app and reduces caching issues.
Issues with Apps & Updates
- Identify the app: If the lag is sudden, an app you just opened might be using excessive resources. Try closing that app first.
- Clear the app's cache (Android only): See related articles for instructions on how to clear the app's cache.
- Check for app updates: Outdated apps can experience performance issues. Check that you are using the latest version of our app and update other apps on your device if needed.
- Update your operating system (OS): Check that your device is running the latest OS version and update if necessary. This information can usually be found under "Phone Information" or "Software Update".
- Restart your device: Rebooting your device clears temporary files and frees up memory
- Reinstall the app: Delete the app, restart your device, then reinstall
