Managing Notification Preferences

Stay informed and in control with our flexible notification system. Explore the different types of alerts available, customize your preferences, and select the channels that work best for your business.

Access Notifications

The number of new notifications will display a list from the past 30 days.

To access notifications:

  1. Open the platform.
  2. In the top corner, click the notifications icon

Notification Settings

To access notification settings:

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Notifications.

Types of Notifications

There are two types of notification:

  • System Notifications: Automatically sent by the system, triggered by overdue payments, appointments needing approval, pre-scheduled announcements etc.
  • Client Activity Updates: Interactions and engagements that clients or leads initiated. Includes client inquiries, appointment requests, client messages, documents approved etc.

Staff Notification Preferences

Each staff member has their own notification preferences, tailored to their role. If you're an admin and need to update these settings for someone else, you'll first need to log in as that specific staff member.

To log in as a staff member:

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Staff.
  4. Next to the relevant staff member, click the more options icon .
  5. Select Log In As.

Notification Channels

Choose how you'd like to be notified about system events or client activity that may need your attention.

To set notification channels:

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Notifications.
  4. Click System or Client Activity.
  5. Check the notification.
  6. Click Save.

Important: To receive mobile push or SMS channels, a staff member must have a valid phone number registered on their staff settings page.
