Automated Campaign Trigger

An automated campaign trigger is an event that automatically triggers an action, like sending an email or SMS.

Here are the triggers you can set for your automated campaigns:

  • Lead becomes a client
  • Client has a birthday
  • Client hasn’t booked or interacted in a while
  • New lead is generated
  • Client status changes to most valuable customer
  • Client leaves an online review
  • Custom client date takes place
  • Appointment or event is completed
Note: Business accounts come with three pre-made automated campaigns, while Platinum accounts allow you to create as many campaigns as needed.

How to Create a Trigger

Automated campaigns are typically sent just one minute after the trigger is activated. Once it's been sent, you won’t be able to make changes for that client, so it’s a good idea to double-check your trigger and conditions before turning it on to make sure everything is set right.

To create a trigger:

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click Marketing.
  3. Click Automated Campaigns.
  4. Click New automated campaign.
  5. Choose a trigger from the list.
  6. Select whether it’s an email or SMS campaign.
  7. Set conditions for your trigger.
  8. Choose a delivery time.
  9. Click Continue to editor to finalize your trigger setup.
Note: When setting up SMS triggers, make sure your clients have opted in to receive promotional messages. If they can’t receive SMS, the campaign will automatically send to their email instead.
