Managing and Sharing Documents

Securely share files anytime, anywhere with your clients. Track progress, control access, and collaborate with ease. 

Supported document file formats are currently:

  • .pdf
  • .txt
  • .png
  • .tiff
  • .jpeg
  • .gif
  • .docx
  • .bmp
  • .pptx
  • .xlsx

Viewing Documents 

To view documents:

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click Documents.

For quick access to frequently accessed standard and signable documents, in the top corner see "My Documents". Click the side-facing arrow to open/close.

You can also view and upload documents on a contact/client's client card:

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click Clients.
  3. Click the relevant client.
  4. Click Documents.
  5. Click the document icon , then select Share Document, Internal Document, or Request Signature.

Note: To upload signable documents, you'll need to install app.rove from the App Market.

Sharing Documents

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click Documents.
  3. Click New.
  4. Click Share document.
  5. Select the relevant client, or click New Client.
  6. Optional: If "New Client" was selected enter the client info, then click Save.
  7. Click Continue.
  8. Select/drag and drop the relevant document(s) and staff member.
  9. Optional: Add a message or check the box to notify clients by email. 
  10. Click Share.

To view shared documents:

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click on Clients.
  3. Click on relevant client.
  4. Select Documents tab.
  5. Select the relevant category of document. 

You can check if the document has been viewed by the client by selecting Sent to client.

Requesting Documents

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click Documents.
  3. Click Request a Document.
  4. Select the relevant client(s) or click New Client.
  5. Optional: If New Client was selected, enter the client details, then click Save.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Enter your email text.
  8. Click Send.

Once your client uploads the document, it will appear both in your inbox and in "Documents".

Deleting Documents

  1. Open the platform.
  2. Click Documents.
  3. Click on the relevant document.
  4. Click More.
  5. Click Delete.
  6. Confirm.
