Make recurring payments simple with automated billing. Send invoices or payment links on a schedule and keep clients up to date.
Enable Auto-Billing
You can choose from three auto-billing options:
- Automatically create draft invoices: Draft invoices appear in "Billing & Invoicing" for you to review before sending.
- Automatically create and send invoices: Invoices are sent at scheduled times. Clients without outstanding invoices won’t get reminders.
- Automatically send payment links: Payment links for the full amount are sent on schedule without creating an invoice.
To enable automated billing:
- Open the platform.
- Click Settings.
- Click Billing & Invoicing.
- Click Automated Billing.
- Turn on the Auto-billing toggle.
- Select an auto-billing option from the list.
- Choose how often you want the billing to occur.
- Select Email, SMS, or both.
- Click Done.
- Click Save.
Important: Once auto-billing is enabled, it applies to all clients. At this time, it can't be turned on for individual clients or specific groups.
View Client Payments
This section lets you view your clients’ full payment history.
To client payments:
- Open the platform.
- Click Clients.
- Select a client.
- In the Conversation box, click the Payments tab.
Complete Draft Invoices
You can keep editing any unfinished invoices and submit them for approval when ready.
To complete draft invoices:
- Open the platform.
- Click Sales.
- Click Billing and Invoicing.
- In the "Filter Billing & Invoicing section," select Draft under "Status."
- Click the draft invoice.
- Optional: Click Edit to change any details.
- Click Approve Draft.
